Green computing, also known as green IT or sustainable computing, refers to the practice of designing, manufacturing, using, and disposing of computer hardware, software, and systems in an environmentally responsible and energy-efficient manner. The goal of green computing is to reduce the environmental impact of information technology by minimizing energy consumption, resource usage, and electronic waste.
